About
I draw with a single black pen and a stubborn heart. The work sits where softness and grit meet.
I’m Draupatea. My portraits are built from lines, rhythm, and breath. No shading. No smudging. Just pressure, patience, and the courage to stop before it’s too much.
I also write short essays about process, queerness, and the strange comfort of constraint. The aim is simple: make honest work and let it help someone breathe easier.
